Product information

This particular example (2019) is pre-owned, or should we say; pre-loved! It is truely in a mint condition. The only remark to make on this guitar are a few light spot on the side of body (upper waist) which appear to be either mineral marks in the wood or specs of dust under the clear coat. Since they are not sensible and the clear coat is not damaged or "blistered" we have no reason to think this is a technical problem. Apart from this "visual hick-up", the guitar is in great shape, as if it was new; no dings or scratshes. Comes including the original case and certificate.

The E-series / Traditional Series by Eastman are all based on the iconic steelstring guitar from the "pre war golden-era". And so, you'll find the traditional body shapes like dreadnoughts, OM's, OOO's and OO's only for this series.
The E20D-TC marks the start of the higher-end flattops of the Eastman traditional series. It has a solid Adirondack spruce top, solid Rosewood back and side, 3-piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and hand carved scalloped X-bracing. TC indicates the Thermo Cured treatment where the top is being baked for an accelerated aging of the wood, resulting in a warmer, more resonant tone. It also affects the look; a thermo cured top is slightly darker compared to an untreated spruce top. Compared to the obvious -D28-, the E20D-TC has a bit more crispyness ("bells") to it's sound that you may enjoy as a rich sound to this vintage style dreadnought.
Please mind the nice details; herringbone binding, abalone snowflake inlay's, open gear tuners and traditional headstock volute.

As Traditional Series are only fitted with pickups on request, this guitar comes without a pickup. On demand, Eastman can fit LR Baggs Anthem, Anthem SL or Element pickups, or we can fit anything you like in our own workshop.

With Eastman as one of our specialty brands, we offer a wide collection of flattop acoustic instruments and solid body and thinline electric guitars. We try to have a constant stock of 20 to 30 items on stock . Our available items vary constantly, but the majority of Eastman's different models can be seen, tested and bought at our 1000m2 music store located in Oisterwijk, The Netherlands (south central). Shipping guitars worldwide is not a problem either. Within the EU, this is free of shipping charges in most cases.
Please get in touch with us for further details on shipping and purchase, but also for more info on Duesenberg products. If you are missing the one item you are after here on our website, let us know and we can probably help you out. If you have seen a better price for the guitar you are after elsewhere; please get in touch with us and let us know! Our online price settings are not automated, so we are open to discuss the best deal and thankful if you help us stay sharp!

Items that are noted with a "green" stock-status are on stock and available right away. An "orange" or "red" marker indicates that we don't have this item on stock but in most cases we can get it in our shop within a short notice. Always ask for an ETA in this case!
All guitars are new (unless stated otherwise) and come including the original accessories. We spend a lot of time and effort taking pictures of the actual guitar in our shop te give you the best idea of what the guitar looks like in real life. We have more pics available for most guitars; ask us! Our guitars are always set up, ready to be played, when they leave our shop. If you have specific wishes or preferences, let us know and we will sort that out!
